Information We Collect
Fergus does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App. The following limited data is collected: an anonymous device identifier used solely to record your votes (thumbs up/thumbs down) on individual cards, not tied to your name or any personal information; purchase information processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat when you buy an Add-on Deck or Power Pack (we never receive your payment card details); and a player name entered on first launch, stored only on your own device and never transmitted to us.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate core App features (card voting, remembering what you've purchased), to verify and restore purchases across app updates or reinstalls, and to maintain and improve the App generally. We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
Fergus relies on the following third-party services, each of which processes limited data as described above on our behalf, subject to their own privacy practices: Apple, Inc. (App Store purchases and payment processing), RevenueCat, Inc. (in-app purchase management and entitlement tracking), and Google Firebase (card-voting data storage).
Data Retention
Anonymous voting and purchase-verification data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the App's features. Since this data isn't tied to your identity, we have no practical way to locate or delete records associated with a specific individual beyond what's stored locally on your own device (which you can clear by deleting the App).
Children's Privacy
Fergus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information below so we can address it.
International Users
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding the limited anonymous data described above. Because this data is not linked to your identity, we may be unable to fulfill certain requests that depend on identifying you.
